Salt Marsh

From far away a Salt Marsh looks like defined cut outs of tall sea grass, especially at low tide, with a maze of little inlets leading seemingly to nowhere. As you get closer to the ocean, up close, you see an intricate network of estuaries that play an important role in keeping the shoreline healthy, giving homes and food supply to shellfish, nesting birds and fish.

The bright blues and greens reflect the vibrancy of this rich, natural ecosystem with spots of yellow as the sun rises or sets upon it.
