When to expect your yarn:

There are two types of orders: In-Stock and Pre-Order.

A Pre-Order comes from a colorway that is dyed to order, originally released as part of a collection, or themed set of colors.  We don't carry these colorways in our regular inventory and will be dyed as orders come in. Typical time-frame for a Pre-Order is 2-3 weeks before your order will ship out. This type of item is noted in the colorway name description as a "Pre-Order" and when you are adding it to your cart.

When your yarn is ordered from our In-Stock inventory: these colorways come directly from inventory we carry in-house and are readily available.

Please allow 1-3 days after your order is placed for your order to be processed.

Orders shipped using the USPS typically arrive based on your option selected at checkout:

Standard: allow 3-5 business days

Economy: allow 5-9 business days

Flat Rate: For larger items we do offer a flat shipping rate

Should a package get lost through the USPS please contact them directly to locate your item(s). Wool & Bark is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

Once your order gets to the shipping carrier it becomes the responsibility of the customer. Wool and Bark is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

What will my yarn look like?

We ship in mailers that are made from 100% recycled plastic in a poly-recycled protective bag. Inside the mailer you will find your yarn in a plastic poly bag for added protection in inclement weather.  Your outer mailer bag can be used again so be sure to recycle it where soft plastics recycling is accepted.

Your yarn will arrive to you in a hank, which will require winding into a cake/ball. Please don't try to use your yarn directly from the hank as this will tangle. There are many YouTube videos that can help with learning how to wind your yarn with and without a yarn swift or special tools.

Due to the handmade nature of dyeing yarn and differences in monitor calibrations, not all skeins will look exactly like the picture online, nor will two skeins be exactly alike. Alternating skeins every few rows in order to avoid color pooling and obvious color changes is suggested.

Caring for your yarn:

It's recommended to hand wash your items in cool water and laying them flat to dry.  Some minor color release could occur with your first couple of washes, so it's suggested you wash your items separately from other items.

Returns/Exchanges:

Currently Wool & Bark does not offer refunds or exchanges.
